U know how every year theres one song that stands out as the 'anthem' for that year (e.g. for me 1999 was Ayla - Ayla or Binary Finary - 1999, and last year it was Cygnus X - Superstring and Rank 1 - Airwave) well i found this year's quite early!!
Check out Push - 'Strange World' (Trance Energy 2001 theme) o my god this is a TUNE...

i think the song is ok, but I don't know if it's gunna be the anthem of the year. i got it about 2 months ago on a promo, and it's orinially called the 2000 remake.
when i first heard it i was extremely impressed, but the track looses it lustre after a couple of times and you get bored of it... the anthem get's a little monotonous cause it doesn't have good buildup and breakdown. you might as well repete the first minute 8 times..
i think a more fitting choice so far this year would be dj bjorn - tracking [green court mix]... i checked napster and didn't find it... anyway, this song is sweet. try to find it and listen to it... it's amazing. ...although it's a great track i think it's still way too early in the year :) |
