Well if your reading this forum your into Trance music production
Altho we make trance music what are the other styles of music that
Influence you in your music?
for me its Classical music, like the stuff in the movies

Everything i hear, and especially everything I listen to influences me. Last week I listened to "you've come a long way baby" from Fatboy slim once again, and now I wanna do a track like that :D
Then I listen to NWA, and really dig the drums in that.
Then I listen to Marco V stuff and then I wanna do a track like his (like tolerance n stuff)
DJ Misjah is also a great great producer in my opinion, I also wanna do a track like his haha
Problem is I want a lot and I hardly ever finish something. And every once in a while it's good to do "your own stuff" (experimenting some with hip hop drums n scratchez combined with trancey pads n leads now) |

i'd like to try compose film score's, funk (jamiroqui), r'n'b, EVERYTHING ! lol
but mostly trance of course :)

heh me too. Well not really good, but I manage to chunk out some chords, and I know how to play the intro to "stairway to heaven" :D
And I play the drums.
One day, I'll get the finest gear in all these things and combine 'em.... |

| First of all, all house genres next trance. Then classical music in minor and after that those chill songs 'for example from: saint germain, dido, depeche mode' too. |

| i guess you could say my influences are commerials.. :P .. whenever i hear one i say "hey, i should do that cuz it needs _____, ____, and ____. but since im horrible at producing i get random sounds that sound like crap :) |

besides Trance i like the score movies too, like composers like:
john Williams, Danny Elfman, James Horner, Basil Poledouris, Alan Silvestri..... i olso like some video games soudntracks like Final Fantasy. progressive rock: Dream Theater, Rush. |

| Benno De Groej and Marco V, along with the sounds of the previous GOURYELLA project always make me feel like having a go and wishing I had the resources that the talent that those songs that the artists have created have evolved from. |
