hmm... it seems all the girls have taken this the wrong way, we can vote for track of 2001, we can vote for DJ of 2001, we can vote for producer of 2001, but we cant vote for Female TA 2001, regarding their beauty..... well i guess its been a crap campaign.... i mean when some of the guys dont even support it, u know its gonna up, ahh well... i guess they can close this... i get to keep my vinyl i guess...

yea i do have to agree on this and make a comment before i leave for my next final..
this board doesnt necessarily cater to females, or make us feel comfortable doing a thread like this, and i think all the girls will back me up here. why? because it seems every time i come in a forum, there are 5 million post-filled threads posting tons of pictures of naked (or mostly naked) girls.
or the fact that 85% of all the guys who post on here have some really huge naked picture of a girl in their signature.
or that a huge quantity of the threads started (that arent about listing pictures of them) are about them in some way like that.
i dunno, i know most of the guys might tell me im wrong for this, but in general, this board really is mostly guys. and since it is, i know that i personally have read a lot of stuff or seen a lot of the threads and felt a little bit weird about being here, even tho i love trance just as much. i mean, think about it. all the girls on here constantly see the guys on the board post "hey, lets post hot naked chicks in this thread/our sig/man isnt she hot! oh who is that? oh man, such a hottie"... and then you really expect those same (few) girls to all post their pictures to you in a thread asking the same thing (wanting to rate them on their looks)? can you see the attitude they might think you will have?
shrug. any of the girls have a comment on what i just said?
twilochik is right tho, i have never, ever, ever, ever, ever seen any sort of guy thread. or a thread where guys post their picture, at all.. except in the canada forum where some people have posted pics cuz we are having a meet up at tiesto. |

Gekhous, don't waste your time on this flame war. It's just not worth it. You know that this thread was pointless and derogatory in the first place.
Not to flame Ahmet, but
A) I know you had good intentions for this thread, but the girls here view any "better looking" contest as a form of mansculine showmanship. Simply put they view themselves better then a pageant.
B) You did step out of line to call Gekhous "gay." There was no reason to flame him. He was just stating his view as I am now.
If you had a thread that was "Who is the most dedicated trancEaddict girl?" or something to that point, not alot of people would of mind as much.
Just a thought.
