WTF , way to go kill a good classic tune sasha, and i know half the ppl in here are gonna say it rocks. But if you'd just get off the bandwagon and really listen to it compared to the De Donatis Remix or the DJ Quicksilver Remix, you'd be able to tell that it really does suck balls.
Well its nearly a decade old now, hopefully sasha can stick to his own original productions from now on and stop spoiling classic tracks.

That goes for every producer aswell, sick of hearing remixes of old classic tracks. Produce something original FFS

:stongue: :stongue: Those mixes sounded awful back then and they sound even worse now... these guys are second rate hacks and you can hear it.

Anyways, while Sasha's remix ain't anything that special I still like it. It has a nice groove to it and I can definitely see it doing some damage on the dance floor with that bassline. However, without the vocal samples I don't think that many could tell it was an Insomnia remix... it's more like Sasha's own track with Insomnia samples imo.

i really like how everyone assumes everyone is jumping on the bandwagon because of the electro house thing. come on seriously...most of us have liked sasha and the progressive dj's for a long time...true there are those that are just now discovering it, but most of the electro house loving people around here are long time progressive fans that are enjoying the incorporation of new elements into these dj's sets and giving fresh new life to their sound.

as for the tune...i think it has a great groove and like the person above me...i can tell that its gonna be great to hear in the club. not only that, but its so different from the original that i don't see it as a cheap knock off. the problem with most remakes is that they don't change anything all they do is take the melody make some weak percussion change and that's the remix? this is actually a different take on it, one which i think a lot of people will end up liking because like i said...its gonna sound good in the club.

Why even bother using Insomnia then? It's a nigh-on perfect club record as it is, and if you're going to change it so drastically, why not go the extra yard and just write your own?
