I consider myself eclectic, though i listen to more EDM than anything else. Here's a tiny sample:
Rock: Influence of being brought up in Orkney (Scottish islands), which is stuck in an 80s timewarp.
AC/DC

Bon Jovi
Hendrix
FolkAgain, Orkney influence
Clarsach (celtic harp)
Shetland/Irish fiddle music
Classical: Classically trained, so I always hold a soft spot for the classical.
Rachmaninov piano works
Rutter choral works
Ligeti 'Atmospheres'
Gershwin piano.
Tori Amos (not really Classical but the roots are there)
Jazz: Written during the American depression, the music just went crazy and always makes me smile :D

i could go on namedropping forever, but what's the point really? if you can make a somewhat short list on non-edm artists you listen to, then my suggestion is to explore the world of music a bit more. |
