mind me asking how much u paid for it lam
NiteMer
A lot of nice mods on there too. S13s are tight. That's a Silvia, right?

i paid 6500 pounds for it...approximately 10,000 dollars.

Its an S14a shape, so the model above the S13. The RS13 had the pop up lights, the PS13 had the square projector lights.

the car in Xenocreators pic is the S15 Silvia (NOT called a 200sx funnily enough) which is the generation above mine, i would kill for one of those, but i'd need a minimum of 12K GBP to have one lol

Awesome series. It's a shame they stopped making the model & are doing the 'z' instead.

Like all good things, it will be back. Once Nissan realizes how ed up the new Altima and Maxima are...

I'm a Honda guy, but I have respect for the older Nissans and hope to own one someday. There's a co-worker selling a 240 but he wants too much for it and I know it was beat on (drifted at a local course).

It is labeled a '200sx' in Australia. It is interesting though that cars get relabeled / rebadged in different countries.

Another car is the Holden 'Monaro'. It is rebadged & called a 'Pontiac GTO' in America.

Isn't that the other way around..the GTO is rebadged and called the Monaro? GTO is an all American car :p

lol. no. :haha: :haha: :stongue: It's a Pure Aussie beast!

http://www.motortrend.com/future/concepts/112_0202_gto/ (see article date before it became the GTO)

http://www.webwombat.com.au/motorin...rts/pontiac.htm

"In the USA, the original Pontiac GTO is often remembered for kick-starting the muscle car scene, such was its emotional connection to the driver. It had the looks and the power to back it up, so the fact that a home-grown Aussie icon will be the new Pontiac pin-up is quite an accolade for Holden."

Australian Built: :tongue2 :tongue2 :tongue2http://money.cnn.com/2005/07/29/Autos/new_gto/

It's just an aussie icon that everyone was pretty excited about when it finally came out down here; because the last generation of 'monaro' was in 1958/59. And then Pontiac had an interest in it & did a deal with holden; It was a huge priviledge for holden & australians. It's an honour because the Pontiac muscle car is huge in the US & has a great reputation.

The only difference really between the Monaro & the Pontiac is the grill at the front.
