Don't you guys love it when bands come out and they aren't that good and then like 3-5 years later they come out with a second cd that TOTALLY KICKS ASS???! i love it!! its like such an accomplishment and it makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside..
the band that i just happen to be talking about right now is Gorillaz..
their first cd was moderately good.. i mean it had a few good tracks but thats about it.. but their new cd (Demon Days) is totally amazing... a girl brought it into my work and now we listen to it constantly.. the sound is so good its mellow and funky and some of it is crazy and fun or hard and rockin'.. i just really enjoy it.. its bunch of differnt sounds all mixed into one album and overall i have to say its really good
if you guys get a chance to hear it i strongly suggest checking it out!!

Alot of the time it's not the band that drastically changes but your tastes evolving. When you first hear it and you're not 'evolved' to it, you pass judgement on it and find it difficult to ever like it. Hear similar music in the future when you become more acute to it, and you may very well enjoy it.

I so need to hit a wickked concert sometime....it's been too long.
switch the scene for a change.
last concert I was at was 2 yrs ago...Our Lady Peace....wickked times...I was being pushed all over the place, But it was so much fun!!

You know what does suck though? When it's vice versa...when a band is SOOO good, and then they come out with another CD and it's so ty! I have no bands in mind here as I write this...but you know they're around. |

The Offspring were pretty consistent with their initial releases. It's only the last two that weren't really spectacular. |
