Karen we just had a flat tire and brought ours to a tire store on jarvis and gerrard.

To repair it they said it would run around 35 dollars, and replacing it(which we ended up doing) was around 150. But it depends on the tire and kind of car.

K,

$150-175 for a new tire is getting up to the performance (S , H )rated tire prices.

I think if you have to replace the tire it should be significantly less than $150 balanced and installed.

As for repair it should be no more than $20 maybe even $10 if you give mario a smile!!!

But you right not going to Crappy Tire.

Go to a Joe Blow tire shop that sells used tires and you can probably get the tire fixed or a used single tire for $50-$60 installed with lots of tread wear left. You would be supprise how often some people with $$$ will change their tires. Some do it every winter!!!

a good friend of mine co-owns a tire shop in Mississauga, if i refer you to them, they'll cut you a deal.

for a decent tire that $175, they'll probably do it for $120-130

I'm hoping that is the price with installation.....

I hope you get it fixed, Karebear!

Best of lucky honnie... spilling out mad dough over a tire is ugly! I hope you get a good deal and it don't cost you much, girl.

Jem.

I paid less than that for a brand new set of Blizzak WS50s last fall. Then again, the tires I need are 195/75R14 :)

Well they were able to repair it...there was a nail in it. I went to the Active + Green place and they charged me $40 with tax

They said I need new tires and he showed me the tread mark, but my lease is up in a month and a 1/2 so I am not sure if I should bother. He said I may be ok depending on how often I drive it, etc.
