do i have to smuggle my liquor?

I'm flying from Dallas to LAX to see TIC. My friends and I are all 19. Are they going to care if they scan my bag and they see alcohol? What if we put the vodka in water bottles and get it through baggage that way?
Anybody with any experience in this field? :) |

| im sure you won't have a problem. although they may not let you bring it on the plane. i dont think they're going to see the alc...then ask for ids. they're airport security not bored as cops |
