well, with a little extra cash, i went out and bought a budget 5.1 system for my computer, mainly cus i wanted to hear Half Life 2 in full effect. So i bought some creative speakers for about $70 over at frys.
i came home, went to sleep, woke up, plugged it in and woke even more uppers. it sounds so awesome, much better than my zalman 5.1 headphones. The sound is so clean and so SURROUND. Definently one of my better computer buys along with the gig of corsair memory i got abuot 6 months ago (which made unreal2k4 load about 3 times faster).
i went back to san diego to see a friend (i live about 50 miles north) and went to walmart and they happened to have a Logitech system for $75. I'm debating wether to return mine (which i bought at frys which will let u return ANYTHING) and picking up the logitech. is the 50 miles ride worth it? |

| back in 2002, i bought a 5.1 logitech surround sound system for my computer. still works great. i cant even turn it all the way up, its so loud. neighbors have come to my door complaining. im a satisfied customer. |
