After receiving my second copy of sven vath's - sound of the second season, I felt it was my duty to bring this tune to people attention.

If you haven't heard it, then i'd advise you to make the best of efforts to try and hear it. If ever there was a perfect afterhours tune then this is it, oh to hear it as I lie on the beach watching the sun rise!!

If only I could find a copy of it on vinyl/cd.

this track has always ment alot to me. extremely uplifting in a more subtle kind of way. all his tracks have such a crisp sound, and this one shows it off the best.

have you heard L'usine's own remix of Flat? its not as good, imo. its more of a rework. just makes it a bit more dance floor friendly.

everything under his L'usine ICL alias is just good.

Sin is still one of my favorite tracks of his though. and the Funkstorung remix of Sustain is very highly regarded by me.

btw, Flat is on the Surface EP. really shouldn't be to hard to find...

that is if you are able to order of the internet...

believe me, it is. I've searched every online store I know even on gemm (that just returns some dodgy store with 0 rating). I've e-mailed isophlux, the lable it came out on, checked e-bay and I'm currently e-mailing mr l'usine himself, jeff mcilwan. He says the record is now out of press.

It's a hard one to find I must say. :(

Flat is a good one, fits well with "that" sound that's so popular these days. It's far from Jeff's best work though, this has a lot more depth and yummy vibes to it, same with his self-titled debut album.

Yeah I've got that one on vinyl, it's also very good.
