NEW YORK Coca-Cola is planning to launch Enviga, a soda that is said to burn 50 to 100 calories just by drinking a 12-oz. serving, next year, per one executive.
Enviga, a green tea-based, caffeinated, carbonated drink, is in clinical testing and is said to speed up the user's metabolism. The beverage will target active lifestyle consumers. A Coke rep said, "Some [of our projects] may find their way to market and some may not." Studies have shown that drinking green tea may promote weight loss by stimulating the body to burn calories.
Vespa, KraftWorks to Break Ads for U.S. Dealer Networks
NEW YORK Piaggio USA this week bows a new U.S. dealer network campaign for its Vespa brand by KraftWorks in New York. The print effort for the LX and Gran Tourismo models borrows its theme from Italian cinema posters. Four ads glorify mundane activities by framing shots of the scooters on the go with cinematic titles like "Out of Milk!" and critical raves. TBWA handles Piaggio's global efforts.

EGCG's have been known about now for years...most weight loss supplements contain this compound in a pill form. Coke was just smart enough to make it more convienent and put it into a liquid form.
FYI - you sweat like a mofo if you take EGCG...even if you are not exercising. It is like a weaker version of ephedrine (which is now only available in 8mg doses per pill). |

Well although i doubt i'd drink that, green tea is actually recommended by nutritionists when you're on a diet to help keep up your metabolic rate (or increase it if it's really slow). |

I mean to do that one day, I should soon.

To keep my weight down, I drink crank-a-cola! Not only does it burn off those excess calories, but it gives me that concentrated burst of energy I need to tackle the day! |

Green tea in general will help your body maintain a better metabolisom on its own, so just drink a cup or 2 of green tea a day :) |
