View this Thread in Original format djliquidice Hi everyone, i'm new here. I generally don't post works , but I think i'm done w/ this one. I've been working on it on and off for over 2 years. This song is based on the track "Journey to the west" by the composer Joe Hisaishi of Japan. His compositions are found in a lot of Miyazaki films. This track was in the movie titled "Princess Mononoke", which is an epic tale and has won many awards. Well, i fell in love w/ the song and decided to take a stab at a trancy version of the composition. Please post your thoughts. This beast was done in Reason 2.0, 2.5 and finally redone in 3.0. I suppose i need to revisit the ending. The flute "twiddling" (3:03) is meant to accent the rest of the song at that moment. I'll review your submissions as well. :) :D sevenseas It's sounds nice, not really my style but it's cool. I agree with sheen that the end isnt very good. Overall it's nice.... Tracks sounds a bit empty, maybe some atmospheric sounds. And i think that clap is like a housey clap.... just don't think the song sounds full enough..but thats just my opinion. Good work!
