I prefer integrity. Has more... solid definition. |

Absolutely. Ethics is everything in life. It is an extension of who you are, and everything stems from it.
From how you socialize, to how you work, take care of yourself and others around you. It is who you are. I have always been one who has had a strong sense of self. Within this sense comes my ethics and these will always be a part of who I am.
The hard part about life is learning to try not to let emotions and other people's influences affect your ethics. |

| Moral Hazard |
This is a tough one. Professionally I am bound by a very strict code of ethics, which I follow to the letter.
My personal ethics are mainly predicated on my own best interest. If you are all honest with yourselves and each other you will likely also find that you fall into the same catagory because ultimately it is our own best interest that motivates us. This is not to say that I disregard other people's interests, quite the contrary. Often what is in the best interest of those around me will also serve my interests so in as much as what happens to others effects me I am very much concerned with the world at large, however, it is due to motivated self interest.
In general, I try to treat others as I feel they deserve to be treated and according to the prudence and manners that govern a polite and just society in hopes that that same consideration will be paid to me. |
