A really awesome annual event on a farm 1 hr north of Toronto.
http://www.harvestfestival.org

"Harvest festival is an annual autumn festival dedicated to self-expression and community. The festival is a place of choice and action, a place to share in the primal, communal vibe inspired by music, people and natural beauty. It’s a place to exercise creativity, where we gather to create, experience and discover.

At the hub is a huge bonfire, it's the focal point that draws people together. From here you can visit three unique musical environments as well as the kitchen where free & tasty garden goodies can be enjoyed throughout the night.

Each year the festival gets better and better; we look forward to your participation!
We’re also going to need people to volunteer during the festival. If that’s more your speed, please let us know and we’ll sort that out as well. If you're able, please let us know if and when you wish to join in the fun to help make harvest happen : [email protected]"

Hastings, Ont. is apparently 30 min E. of Peterborough, which means longer than an hour drive, no?

Carpools are definitely in order...

The flyer says "Aboulutely no glass, pets, fireworks or early arrivals"

btw, I love the flyer, really cool folding design. If anyone here hasn't seen it yet you should check it out.

P.S. I'm on the farm right now and it's looking really good guys:)
