| Does anyone have a PS2 repair guide they can send me, or even point me in the direction of a free one? I can't find any free PS2 repair guides on the net damnit:whip: |

| if it's a DRE, call up sony. they had a class action lawsuit a few years ago and the terms were they had to fix any ps2 that had problems for free. Got mine done that way, only have to pay for shipping to them :D |

| Yep, I'm getting a Disk Read Error from my old PS1 games. Tomb Raider 2, and Formula 1 97 don't work. I read up how more power is needed to read CD games then DVD games, so that's the reason. Will have a shot at adjusting the voltage on the laser, but havn't found a free online tutorial yet for the SCHP30002 model (yep oldskool PS2:)). |
