as i promised you, i did DL the mix and finally listened to it at 8am stuck in traffic on my way to work.. MY COMMUTE ROCKED!!! couldn't have had a better time in traffic john :D:D:D:D
and like i said to you before, i honestly liked _every_single_ track on this mix.. and yes john, i've liked blippity, queekity, quirkity music for a long time now ;) :D :D :D
this one's a keeper on my ipod!

sounds like they all hopped up on E bonding over a controversial movement of scene versus their eclectic taste in a specific genre of music LOLS. ok i got that from human traffic...but yea that describes the kitchen scene for me |

Ya that is what really bothers me. I check my webstats and notice that the mix got over a 100 downloads but only about 1 reply... When I download I always comment, it is hard to find the time to listen to many mixes though, but that is why it is important that the people who do listen comment and give feedback... :rolleyes: |

The scene today is something I am very unfamiliar with, and i do not like at all. It has become nothing more than a popularity contest of who knows who, who can get vip, and who has the best drugs. When it stopped being about the music, I dont know. But as i get older it really takes more for me to go out and enjoy myself often having to indulge myself in drugs or alchohol to have a good time. I am not saying drugs are not a part of the scene as they helped mold the scene, but today a greater weight is put on drugs or alchohol to have a good time.
I really do enjoy music for whats its worth. I just wish everyone else would enjoy music rather than whose name is attached to it.
I fear my time as a member to this community is gradually coming to a end. And I believe it is time to let another generation of clubbers take over as i do not know what "the scene" is anymore.

Dling now :) I always show support....but I do agree with you about the amateur dj and production forums. I gave up on it. I would post a new track I made and either there would be practically no responses and it would sink futher and further down the list eventhough it was downloaded many times. The poeple that reply there the most are the mods and the daily forum browsers but it just seems that everyone wants theyre product to be reviewed and no one takes the time to review anyone else's. Each time I posted there I would try to review at least all the new track etc on the first page and even still only under a handful of people will reciprocate.
Yo John did u make the trance mix u mentioned with the records you recently found that you were searching so long for? If U did I missed it so hit me up on aim and lemme know
