Where's the funny?

Nowadays, it seems like there isn't anything remotely funny online anymore. Even when I type "LOL", or "HAHAHAHAHAHA", i'm dead serious behind the computer. I don't even smile or chuckle at anything, I just sit here with a serious face no matter what it is.
The only time something has made me laugh to the point of exhaustion online was when I read the comments to the "nastiest pic" on the internet(Dark Angel and Mr. Pink saw it too). I laughed until my neck and ribs hurt like hell, and my Jaw trembled from laughing so much.
Does anybody else feel the same way? Like the quality of the internet has been declining since the good ol' days? And while we're at it, I don't even find things shocking anymore as well. You couldn't shock me at all. Maybe disgust me a little, but you couldn't shock me like back 1999-2000.

u n00b. Everything is funny when its new, when you get on teh intarweb everything is new. But you never noticed hwo much time it took for all that funny to get online.

No. I dont' think we'll be looking back at 2005 and laughing. It's ing boring, and I don't need to make 'funnah'.
Everyone wasn't funny a few years ago, that certainly isn't the case. But we had certain people that were really funny, or really interesting. And the comments/insults/jokes towards them and from them were classic. |

I dunno, I think maybe after awhile you just get desensitized to things.
I still find alot of things funny though. I laughed HARD when I first saw Leeroy Jenkins. And for whatever reason, " into Mordor" has been cracking me up a bit too.
