If this should be in the how-to forum, please feel free to move it.
Im moving to a new apartment in about three weks. I have dimensions of all the rooms and closets and now Id like to plan how I want to arrange furniture and get an idea of the size ill have left so I know how I can buy. Does anyone know of software that lets you define room and object demensions and move things around?
This thread will be deleted if I find ample software. |

I used 'autocad' when drawing up the arrangement for my new shed in the back yard
Cheap program that is similar: quickdraw
google "cad programs"
cad = computer aided drafting btw |

| check out visio as well...don't know if its free though, microsoft makes it so there might be a demo somewhere |

lemme know if you need any help using it...pretty straight forward...you can change all the dimensions of items and everything...
ps. i wouldn't delete it...i think some other people might find that site fun and helpful |
