Cut down big MP3 files

Well, guys i was just wondering if anyone could tell me which software to use to cut down my huge (100Mb+) mp3 files into tracks. I've already tried Cool Edit, and wasn't happy with it at all.
P.S. I hope this is the right forum for this :) |

hey,
do you want to cut them into just any track, like no desired cut points?
if so, you can download some file splitters, which also has no gaps =)
but if you want to put where you want it split, go to www.download.com and search for mp3 split, i think it is, and get mp3 splitter. You can cut a track by selection. But it isn't that good. But ohh well =) |

I need to cut mp3 @ a desired point...
I was there, downloaded some MP3 splitters....the problem is they are all shareware and have limited options i.e. cuts max into 3 tracks
I need a non shareware version *cough* or a program that doesn't require registering... |

i think sound forge?
go to www.katzwarez.com
go to the search option on the side, search for sound forge
and download it from there, if it doesn't work e-mail me and i will try to send it to you |
