| as lived in tampa for 20+ years.. Ybor is the place to go... you will find your choices there... several clubs and bars... drink first then go to the clubs... it makes the clubs tolerable... |

| i hate ybor city. unless there is a big dj in town, i think its stuck-up. just my opinion. i go to the underground for my EDM fix on the weekends. friday night, usually 5 bucks, i think so this night too. for what it is, there definatly isnt as many people as there would be in ybor, but i just go there to chill, dance with plenty space, and glowstick. i cant do that at the amp or anywhere in ybor. |

thats actually speaking for everybody who goes to Ybor... me, personally I like it... its my home town's club scene as good or bad as it is... i never have a bad time down there... everbody who has ever said anything about Ybor has been bad.... no its not Miami or NYC nor should it be... but its my home and i love it..
ive had some of my favorite times in Ybor b/c i go always expecting nothing and come away with a great night... Space i always go expecting teh world and only rarely get the ign out of this world night that i hope for...
so based solely on expectations i more times than not come away with a better night ratio for Ybor vs Miami... |

ampitheater, twilight... and others that tickle your fancy while down there.... there are like 7 all on 1 block.. all with in a 10min walking distance... and between teh clubs you'll pass like 13 bars..
the first 2 mentioned are pretty much your only shot at any sort of EDM... i hope you like breaks... |

| I dont think Twilight is there anymore, there is something else there but I dont know the name. There is also Channelside in downtown near the port and Hyde Park Cafe that plays house off of Armenia or Howard. But yeah Ybor is mostly breaks and hop. |

if you go to Hyde Park Cafe,.. which isnt too bad i might add..
go to The Rack across the street adn get yoru pre-game on watching some sports.. then head directly across the street...
my past experiences have unfortunatly led me to hardly even remembering crossing the street.. much less my time spent at Hyde Park Cafe... i was told it was fun... i have some pics of some cool lasers from there.. |

Amphitheater and The Underground
Amphitheater plays some, Underground is similar in size if not bigger than Space and has that intense dark feeling, and they do play edm, how much trance they play I really dont know, but its worth checking out. |
