Your koi fish is "swimming" the wrong way.
The story in ancient Asian myth is that the koi would try to swim up the waterfall, and any who made it to the top were transformed into dragons. So, if a koi was tattooed "swimming downstream", it would be sign of defeat. |

| I have a small (2cm) cross on my chest that will ultimately be a phoenix, and my family crest on my left shoulder. I love it, I've had them both for couple of years now, they're just another part of me. But on that note, you should be 100% certain of what you want to get. Too many people go and get completely pointless and meaningless tattoos, just because it's the fashionable thing to do. |

| I have 5, I dont regret any of them. actually sometimes I forget some of them are there. I started at 18 and became addicted to them till I was 20 and since then I only have the desire to get one more which will be a background addition to one I already have. Not anytime soon though I have an idea but I need someone to draw it. |
