Im goin with option B since you just acted like an ... so here's a sample ... Know what we're talking about without having to listen to a sample because you listen to trance enough to know ... or shut the up . peace.

Christ, you really are a ing moron. Asking for a short sample instead of a 1 hour set is unreasonable is it? And it looks like your the one picking the fight... er... homie... boy... jigga...

thx for the link but it doesn't seems to work :(

Try long notes, made up of sine waves.
The off-beat "varbing" is either done by modulating with an tempo sync'd LFO, or sidechaining a compressor.

what is varbing? I've been doing this for a long while and I've never heard of this? Did I miss something?

what your gonna want to do is to use a mid size attack on most of the notes as well as route velocity(play with velocity levels) to trigger an lfo and the lfo to trigger the filter envelope, use a triangle wave for the lfo but dont set the depth of the lfo to high so that it starts to pump...just set it enough so that you get some movement in the bass sound.

This is by no means an exact replica, just a starting point for you to play around with.

heres a sample of what I used in my newest project....not the exact same thing but somewhere along those lines.

Ok the link works but when I said a sample, a 10 seconds sample where we can hear the bass clearly does the job. You know, it is just for convenience. I don't have a huge connexion and I don't want to spend 1 hour downloading a set. If you want to share this set that's fine, you can do, but also think to attach the precise sample, you will get more replies.

So, is this the kind of sound you expected ? http://perso.wanadoo.fr/TranceDevotion/MSBass.mp3

this is the VStation patch : http://perso.wanadoo.fr/TranceDevotion/MSBass.fxp

and the midi notes : http://perso.wanadoo.fr/TranceDevotion/MSBass.mid
