Skull & Bones is rather interesting when you consider just how many political power players are members. My brother went to Yale but can’t tell me much since it’s shrouded in secrecy. They apparently pick people out for membership and the person is sworn to secrecy. One of my brother's friends was supposedly in it, but he never really acknowledges it. Interestingly enough he works for some sort of UN think tank in NY lol. There are other societies as well such as Scroll & Key.
I don’t know...one part of me longs for some mystery and intrigue, but the realist in me thinks these societies are nothing more than glorified fraternities. As for the "elite" membership, I think its quite easy to see who is entering the school the coming year...which son from a famous political or wealth family and then singling out the person to join |

I would venture a guess that many of the problems in the world today have been caused by small pockets of people in the past.
Many of the opinions on this forum, even, are heavily influenced by massive webbed connections of probability waves that were initially set in motion by some bigot's drug-induced psychosis in the past.

| @ ogvh5150 or Trancer-X: So I just recieved a letter in my mailbox. It was an invitation of sorts to "The Order of the Serpentine." Do you guys know anything about it? Their rhetoric in the invitation sounds pretty masonic to me, and their choice of symbolysm is fairly interesting as well. The pyramid, with a serpent in the center, and what appears to be sympoblic of the son god or samarimus. Who ever wrote the invitation seems to know some personal information about me (it was really discrete, but I picked up on it) which is the creepier part. |
