Me and my friends found $10,000 once...and all hell broke loose after that..

We were just walking by a park until we saw this bag sitting behind the bushes.But i was the one who noticed it, i picked it up and opened it up and lo and behold, we found over $10,000 inside!!!We were so shocked we didn't know what to do..We brought it back to a place and started counting it.
One of my friends said "Holy **** i can't wait to get my share"
I was like "And your stupid too, this is my money, i found it"
Then he says "Well i was there too so that has to be worth something"
I was like "Oh yeah okay, well here's a 10, there's the door"
Then we just argued for hours on who found what, such as one of my friends said he was the one who suggested coming here, while the other said he was the one who wanted to hang out, while i said i found it..Since none of us could decide, i suggested just waiting until someone claims it or unless we stop bickering, give it to the police...
But i knew those ungrateful runts wouldn't keep it a secret.
They told another of their friends and he comes up to me and says "Hey Kevin So why don't you break me off a little something something?"
I said "What do you mean break you off a little something something?"
He says "It means i know a little something something"
I responded with "Listen soda jerk, You don't know about nothin nothin, but if you did who told you?"
He said "A little birdie named Steve"I said "You mean a stool pigeon named Steve"
Then he just says it doesn't matter and that he still wants his share...So i just took the initiative and gave it to the police since it was the right thing to do really...They got mad but oh well..I did the right thing |

You know, you could've deposited the money into your account after a month, then afterwards just tell your friends you returned it to the police...
So how many friends were there with you when you found the money?
BTW, it's mine so I'll be needing it back, k thx +1 |

firstly, i dont believe the story.
but if *I* woulda found 10k....and i was with 2 of my pals hanging....
1) I dont hang with dicks or people i dont like.......so it woulda been cool to give them some cashola
2) C'mon! It's 10 grand! What's giving each of your pals 1K and keeping 8k for you?
fuk, id be happy if i got $1,000 for walking in the park! (probably stoned as lol)

i don't believe this story but giving it to the cops is the worst idea i've ever heard. |

| Id hand it over, but Id know that it would just be pocketed by uncle Sam most likely... so I might think about giving it to a few local charities. My conscience wouldnt let me keep it. |

, if it's REALLY a bag of ten grand sitting behind some bushes, you know for a fact it's drug money or something. i say take that . but then again this story is bull so i guess it doesn't matter.

it really is real we did find 10k in a duffle bag...
but this is canada so we were surprised to see it there and drugs isn't high in our city..
however, i gave it back because i wanted to do the right thing because that money was destroying us.
it was turning friend against friend, family against family...even lovers against lovers |
