Wisdom Teeth Surgery (I'm Kinda Excited)

So I'm getting my wisdom teeth out today at 9:30. The top two are impacted so those have to be cut out. The bottom two are poking through.. and the right bottom one got a cavity which is why my dentist just said I should get them out.
But why am I excited?
The method of anesthesia they're using is a diazepam (Valium) and morphine mixture. :D :eyespop: :crazy: :D
And for afterwards I've got the standard meprozine.. sooo I'm set. |

I rolled about 2 weeks ago and the next day..........i dont know....something happened.....one of my wisdom teeth popped out from underneath my gums.......so its sticking out a lil bit and the pain suuuuuuuuuuuuuked for like 3 days!!!!!!!! :(
apparently i need the two on my left pulled out normally, and the two on my right surgically removed :(
im not excited one bit.
i hate the dentist, and i hate blood........ i pass out if i see that . |

plus your body will be in withdrawl from the opiates and your face will be all swollen. |

Hehe. Yeah, I know I won't feel it. And I am being halfway sarcastic.
But I do know this anesthesia will be lighter than what I had for a knee surgery I had. That . Oh my god.
I remember feeling cold, then I woke up while being loaded into my mom's car. The hospital was 2 hours from my house. The next time I woke up I was back home. The 20 step walk to my door had me dry heaving. Then I went inside and slept until 8am the next day. That was 24 solid hours of being out cold.
I wanna know what kind of anesthetic that was and hope to god I never have to have it again. |

I never get withdrawel from opiates. Which is bad.. cause they're my favorite class of drugs by far.
What's funny is I have to go to my MD the next day for a followup on my depression treatment. I was on Lexapro but it was causing really severe mood swings. Not to mention it robbed me of my sense of taste.
Now I'm on Zoloft and it's helping a lot. I'm able to confront a lot of issues I had growing up and righting some wrongs with its help.
Anyway. Just can't wait to talk to my MD with swollen-as- gums and such. :haha: |

I had Vikadin for 2 weeks.
and then said i still had pain and got a refill for another week.
that was some good times. ha! |

good luck! you'll be fine. i'm a dentist in ohio, too bad you didn't come to me...i assure you the office music would have been better! feel better soon.
