Popups!!!

| I dont know whats casuing them, I recently installed team fortress game and for some reason, everytime the map changes, a pop up comes up...and now today, after it changed map, it minimized, and more than 40 popups came up :eek:, too many were loading and I couldnt close them, so I just clicked the off button on the computer...anyone know how I can stop them? |

That sucks. Where'd you get team fortress from? Check for possible spyware or anything of that sort.

Have you tried installing the Google Toolbar?
It's very good at blocking popups usually. |

Your right when you say google's toolbar is good at blocking pop-ups ... but included with google toolbar is an information tracker which sends back your details (visited sites etc) to google for thier and other third party companies to use (the twats). use Lavasoft Ad-aware and you can see this happening:toocool: |
