Grand Intro or Bangin' Closer?

So when you go out to the clubs and see someone spin live, what do you prefer better in a tracklisting?
A) A damn good intro: something maybe you're familiar with or have always wanted to hear; something that starts the tracklist off right on a good note; sets the tone for the rest of the time; puts a smile on your face.
or
B) a bangin' ending: one that ends on an explosive note, a huge climax; something that makes you leave the club with that last track stuck in your head, adrenoline still pumping.
any thoughts? |

this is a good one, and pretty hard decision.....
but i would go for a set closer, even though the set intro is of main importance......but if the intro is then he/she can always make up for it during the set.....
if they play a closer that is then the whole thing kind of feels like an anti climax.....so id go for a set closer, because it would make my adrenelin still be pumping, and ill be on a high leaving the club |

| i say a banging ending cus i ussually enter casually late then rock it till the end, and being the one pumping up the crowd from the booth is a great feeling especially at the end. |

| I think the good intro would be great but there is nothing better than a bangin exit. Leaves u wanting more I think .. |

good intro and bangin' ending!!
like avb sets!!
he always hit us with a ing good intro
and in the end of the sets he kicks with the best tune of the year...(whiteroom, hammer and bennett - language etc..) |

| Voted for bangin' closer. Intro can be forgettable and overpowered by the other tracks during the set. |

+1, completely agree
although I would off course prefer a nice set with grand intro AND bangin' closer :D |

the closer. sometimes i enjoy sets with dull starts & great finishes, because of the constant improvement throughout
first & last tracks should always be the most important tunes in the set.. but the last moreso imo |
