| I want to get a DVD set as a gift but I can't remember what Dr. Who was my dad's favorite. I think it was the one with the long scarf. Does anyone know what dr. who that was and possibly the year it was on TV? |

Rose was in all the episodes of the 2005 season of Dr Who.
she was not in any previous seasons.
and there is a new Dr for the next season and a new assistant too,
The actors who played Rose and the Dr have quit the show saying they don't want to be typecast into those roles.
