HAHA!! beat u all to it! :D
Wow!! I went there not knowing what to expect, was I ever in for a treat.
I'll keep my review short..cause Im exhausted! need to sleep then post a better review later.
Irgo opened with an amazing set that got everyone crazy pumped (1st time I've heard him and glad he gave me a cd), Mossey did what he does best and continued the madness with an amazing set to say the least dropping bangers after bangers..couldn't keep still..., then came Ortemy who absolutely shocked the out of me  I never knew u were so versatile with u're style dude.. nuff props and superb set...fav. track of the night=Marco V, then came on Korhan who unfortunately I couldn't stay to watch more of because I was exhausted and decided to leave...but I did catch some of his set before I left and it sounded hard core, dark prog. which the people were eating up.
All in all....a great night. Shoutout to all the Dj's for their great sets...and all the TA's I saw there. :)
Now.. sleep time. |

All I can say is WOW. Last night was amazing! Unfortunately I only got a chance to hear the last bit of Mossey's set (which was really good :)) Ortemy totally blew the crowd away though! This was the first time I ever heard him play a set this progressive and techish, and all I have to say is...OMG :P Anyway, I only heard the guy at the end for a little bit..and his stuff was a bit to "dark" for my liking, but the crowd seemed to be enjoying it, so its all good :) All in all, good job guys! (Get them into the main room more often!!!)
OK, i'll go continue to sleep at work now..zzz :o |

my sincere appologies to everyone. plans did not go as planned last nite and i ended up not making it down to the club at all. i'd rather not discuss what happened so if you want to know just PM me or hit me up on IM, etc.
hope everyone had a great night nonetheless and thanks again for all your support. special shouts go out to all the DJs for once again putting on a great show. cheers!

I am expecting my review to be lengthy...I have to get ready for a wedding today and I am procrastinating like you wouldn't believe. No sleep and killer beats running thru my head are not helping with the preparation either.
As Stilez stated above, I walked into this night not really knowing what to expect and man was I floored by it all. Tunes, crowd, energy...they were all enormous. weeeeeeeeeeeeeee "Is everything cool, alright, what happened"?
Ortemy, nothing makes me smile more than when a DJ manages to shock even their good friends with how versatile he/she is. I knew I could expect great things from you but you out did yourself hon. Track, Selection, Programming...it was all bang on. Definitely a set you should be very proud of. I loved every second of it. Thanks for reminding me that there is still great progressive trance out there to shake my ass to.
Mossey, Ya done good sweetie. There is no denying that all of your sets come with a unique Mossey Beatscience stamp... that you should be very proud of. I always said that to leave a mark in this industry you have to do it with your own sound and you've done that. I suppose I shouldn't complain about the countless hours you've spent digging up new tracks (um ...time spent away from me ;)) when you were only doing what I asked you to. I demanded relentless dirty proggy tech monsters and that is what I got last night. As I am sure you know, tunes of the night for me were without a doubt Cyberpunkers - Sex Machine and Skeewiff - Man of Constant Sorrow (D. Ramirez Mix).
IrGO played what I would call the perfect warm up set. He got everyone groovin really early and FILLED the dancefloor. Perfect programming all the way to peak time. Well done mate.
Korhan laid down the dark and evil for us come 4:30. One cannot finish a nite at system with out being destroyed by some sinister beats and he definitely delivered those. Didn't get to see his entire set as this old girl had to get home for some ZZZs but I have no doubt he closed down shop in style.
To all the TAs who came out to support our local kids...
Tristan and Justin - you two are dancing machines. Thanks so much for lending me the sweatband J...it allowed me to pull out my ultimate fighting moves that only come out on special occasion (thankgod) Sugar Ray would be proud that this morning I cannot lift my arms above my head. soooooooooo tired.
Fir3rstart3r - what can I say, a night at system just wouldn't be the same without you. So hope your foot survived the dancefloor.
Schryer and Jenna- two of my most favorite people. Every second on the dancefloor with you is heart warming. thanks for always being front and centre to support our boy.
Matt and Tara- thanks for making the long trip to join the party. it would be hard to find a cooler couple than the 2 of you. thank you again for your constant support.
Sean C- Wikkid. Wikkid. I still can't believe you missed the H.C.C.R track that Mossey dropped for you...yes YOU. Atleast you can relive it on Foundation. Good to see you again my friend.
Max Q- always so happy to see your smiling face on the dancefloor. Thanks for supporting the new dance moves..however ridiculous they may have been. I think we should get a couple of them patented ;)
Voodoochild - my old school sista. Words cannot even describe how unbelievably happy I was to see you walk in the door. Just would not have been the same without you my dear. Thank you SO SO much for coming out. You have redefined the meaning of superfan. I luv ya.
StereoP- a party review would just not be a party review without mention of our lovely Margs. Maybe the biggest supporter of our local talent and the scene in general here in the city... you are an inspiration on and off the dancefloor. I have no doubt that this very minute you are still dancing and introducing yourself to someone new.
Crib- was an absolute pleasure meeting you and sharing the dancefloor with you. I was so happy to see that you found your dancing legs and were finally able to tear it up front and centre. Look forward to partying with you again soon.
Stilez, Milos, Endlesswave, Tordan, Fuad, Diginut, Preppiechick, Sekoya,- was so great to see all of you and share some time with you on the dancefloor.
and a very big thank you to the club, John Tang, Emery and the Deep Groove boys for inviting our 4 local boys to play the mainroom. Boys, I think you proved to everyone that this city doesn't need to rely on an international superstar to fill a dancefloor. The place was rammed all night!
now... time to prep my legs for some more dancing because I got me some wedding dancing to do. Bring on the "The Locomotion", "The Bird Dance" and "Old Time Rock and Roll". I am going to call tune of the night now though.... "Lady in Red" ....because...come on ...there is always someone dressed at a wedding for that tune. |

I got the old 'bump and grind from behind' from her several times. Crib asked me if I knew her and I said... "no, but I think Margs does". LOL |
