I ordered $44 worth of new choonage from beatport a few minutes ago, then clicked on the download link, it said 'loading...' and nothing happened. I logged out, logged in, tried again, same thing. I checked the forums and apparently this has been happening for 2 days with absolutely no response from any beatport support. numerous emails have fallen on deaf ears/eyes. the ty part is that they are still getting everyone's money without having to provide any product!
i've had issues with their glitchy coding before, but this just pisses me off.

I r genious, I figured out how to fix it. Here's what I posted on the beatport forums:

I was incredibly pissed off when I realized that the downloads weren't working today. I dropped $44 on tunes and was worried I wouldn't be able to get them.
But, becuase I'm awesome, I figured how how to get around it.
Some of you may have noticed that the url: http://www.beatport.com/index?area=...temId=undefined was popping up when you would click a download link. Working with this, here's the solution:
Open up your confirmation email that you got with your order. Paste the above url into your browser, replacing the 'undefined' with the 5 digit ID code listed in the confirmation for each tune. If you aren't logged into beatport or try to enter an ID code for a tune you didn't buy it won't work (I tried )

That made me laugh!!....not cause you paying money but i guess cause of the word "choonage":p
Im sure beatport staff will help you out, there really cool then it comes to problems like this.

| impatient is hardly the word i would call it. he paid money for a product. if i was in shoes i would have acted the same. there's no such thing as handing over your hard-earned money for something and not getting it within the promised time. |

Well if you'd orderered from an online record store like chemical you'd have to wait for postage anyway. Mind you, getting the track immediately is one of the big bonuses of beatport and audiojelly etc.
If the above trick doesn't work for you, just hang on to your receipt purchase email and they should fix it up for you. |
