need help with zip file.

i ziped up all this and sent it to my brother so i could format.
now i can't open the zip on my computer or his. it says it's corrupet....>: O wtf do i do??! that's not ing cool, i have a lot of in there. it says its 4.01 gb, like it's supposed to be, why is it all ed up >: O |

He can't, it's almost certain the file is corrupted.
Brad, mate, I'm sorry to tell you this but you're going to have to do it all over again - never EVER create enormous zip files: the chances of having a bug in a transfer is a lot higher. I learnt it the hard way :( |

Next time use winRar (www.rarlabs.com) and add protection by including a suitably large recovery record.
It is also possible (tho unlikely) that winrar may be able to recover your zip file. Give it a go, what can you lose. |

use winrar, when you hit extract you will see 3 options on the bottom left under miscellaneous. Check all three and extract. Usually that works.
