Hey all,
Thought I'd make a post here and let you all know about the changes that are going to take place in the Purple Room come September... we think you'll all like them! :)
For the last 4 years Fresh Entertainment has been responsible for Friday nights there. It started off with us promoting monthly Jungle and Breaks nights until we were given the opportunity to expand to weekly nights 3 years ago. From that the monthly trance nights were born.
When I left Fresh over a year ago I stayed on as a resident for the trance nights. The owner of the company, Darrick, has decided that it's time for him to move on and pursue other endeavours. (and we wish him the very best with that)
With that said, Paradigm will be taking over as the company that will run the nights. As part of Paradigm and former part of Fresh, I see the similarities in vision and work ethic between the two companies so it's a great fit.
As per many of the requests from you over the last couple of years, there will finally be a bi-weekly trance night. I will be the resident for both of these nights, as well as Tygon who will be playing once a month. The other nights will be house and hard techno.
I'm excited for Paradigm and I'm excited to stay on and be a part of a growing trance scene here in K-W. This will give us more opportunity to showcase the amazing talent we have around here as well.
The trance nights will be the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month (dates are a little staggered in September- check the calendar soon)

Seriously though - this is awesome! Trance nights have been the busiest , and IMHO the best nights at PR the during the past couple of years.

THIS IS AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! amazing local nights are coming more often now! Since I started going there, it just got bigger and better. More people are coming out, and more people from other citys. The talent that we have is just amazing! I've had some of my best times at PRoom! With the addition of house and techno to, thats just awesome. Residents DJ Dennis Hahn and DJ Tygon, as we all know, hype that place like no other. Paradigm is growing, and we will all be there to help and watch it grow.
