Hey,
Atfter hearing a monster tune entitled Christian Zechner - Stellar Winds (M.I.D.O.R & Six4Eight Mix)
Sample:
http://www.bangingtunes.com/play/ss003/b/
I've been trying to recreate similar powerful trance basslines, any pointers r.e. synth's and effects?
Cheers guys,

in order to have the kick and the bass song like a single wave is not simple
the bass has to be in betten the kicks
1234/1234/1234/1234
4 notes in 4 messures
1 should be the kick 4/4
2 shoudl be the bass
some songs have both 2 and 3 bass notes
and 4 is a messure for the bass to enlongate and make the full bass sound
the kick and bass are usually were close in freqency
and they over lap each other thats why u have to
eq it and anti phase it.
bass is around 800hz
kick is 600hz for the kick bass
and 1400-20000 for the crisp sound of the kicker
as for that song is runnninf a regular 16 note bass line alternating between one higher and lower note .. |

| Sounds like the pattern is K.BBK.BBK.BBK.BB, but there's a bit of delay on it so it's not really easy to tell. Pretty sweet track, I'll play around with reproing it for you later. |

Is it for you as powerful as an Alex Morph bassline? |

| I think it's a sort of KBBB bassline, every time round. Doens't really sound like the psytrance bassline though, there's much less variation in it (e.g. no octave switches). |
