It all happened back in December 2003. I'm not good at summarising things so, here it is:
I had solid chances of getting a 5 years scholarship abroad so I decided it was time to enjoy my time in Brazil as much as I could. However, at the same time, I was about to take another university entrance test here in Brazil in case things failed, and that's how I met my girlfriend.
Certain day, a professor of ours at uni was going back to her homeland and there was this good-bye party. There I met this incredibly cute girl, she had just come back from a 1 year scholarship abroad and she had this subtle cute accent for that reason. However, I had to leave early and we could barely talk, although she did take a pic of me, hehe. Before I left though, a friend of mine, who was this girl's neighbour, invited me to a father on the following day. I would also give her a lift, as she had no car.
Once I got there, I also had to give a lift to this couple and, yes, to the cute girl I had met in the previous day. We chatted a lot in our way to the party and, as we got there, we laid down on a hammock and talked more an more. Some of her friends joined us, so it made me look like a stud or something. Hehe, it was a "Lira for the win" situation but as hesitated as I thought I'd be leaving the country soon. Before the party ended though, she had this disc I really liked, and I asked whether she could give me a copy (for evaluation purposes :D).
That's how I first asked her out - it wasn't a proper date. We went to this party full of anime freaks who crashed into the party for some reason, so we left as soon as we could. I didn't want the night to end there though as I was really happy talking to her. We then went to a bar, and then to a beach-like place we have here in Brasilia. The romantic mood was set and... that was the first day in these 20 months we've been together :)

ok so...
i was in san diego with some other ta's to see markus schulz (we all live in LA...about 2 hrs north of san diego). by the end of the night i notice this girl singing "Found U" by Interstate...struck me as odd, most girls round these parts don't know trance/house stuff like that. i thought nothing of it...sure she's hot, and she knows the lyrics but she lives all the way down here :(
a month or so later i see her out at Avalon (big LA club for teh dance music) and i thought "HOLY ! its her!" so i went and said hi and told her that i saw her at markus schulz in SD a month back and blah blah, but again...did'nt think much of it
then i just kept seeing her out and eventually got her number. she didn't realize at the time that i was only 20, and i didn't know she was 25. and i think the fact that i lied and said i was 23 certainly helped in getting the number. later on in the week we were hanging out at her house spinning records (yes she spins) and swappin stories and one way or another it came out that was only 20 and she sorta freaked out and kinda kicked me out
i thought i blew it...i was le sad :(. then she calls me about a week later just to talk. we ended up having our 1st "real date" at Avalon with Sasha on the decks. i had VIP and she figured she would just let her and her cousin take advantage of it, get free drinks get back stage etc..., then DITCH ME! but her cousin said "what's your problem? you said he's cute....and he's a cool guy".
later on that night she ended up getting kicked out for buying drugs or something lol. and she called me and said "i got kicked out! but you can come over if you want" it took all my drunken powers to get to her place that night, and i did. and we spent all day sunday together. been together ever since |

| I met my currently fiance about 12 or so years ago. At that time I was interested but I was not the type to approach people I let them approach me. He didnt approach me because he was the shy type and I didnt know that. We were at his best friends house and I was there because I was friends with his best friends sister. I asked about him and she told me that he had no interest in girls and that he was just a nerdy gamer. We ended up becoming really good friends for years and later I found out he was interested however the girl I was friends with wanted him too and that is why she lied to me. He wasnt interested in her though but when I was not around she was throwing herself at him since he was all shy. Years later the truth comes out and we are together. |

i met my gf near the end of my freshman year in college. she was hot and i had seen her looking my way once or twice so one day i started chatting her up. a day or two later, class let out early and i had an afternoon to kill so i asked her if she wanted to grab a bite for lunch and she agreed...
after a month of the pre-dating 'just kickin' it' period, we 'officially' began dating and have been together for a little over eight years now... |
