Hi everyone,

I was just curious if anybody could tell me what synth is used in the sample song below. It's the synth that's very rough sounding, almost a little too rough to call a supersaw, I suppose.

Is it possible to do this type of synth with software? Reason possibly? Anyone up for the challenge?

I think it's a bad sounding piano:tongue2

That's a supersaw. I think there might be a bit of distortion, and it's pretty sharply EQ'ed.

Well you should be able to make this sound if you use your precious time. replecating sounds can be easy and hard for some, you just got to play around with the programs. Its how you use the program that is the key.

using Reason 3.0, which i use you can definatly create some great sounds. from them very mono sounds to very Phatt or lush soundscapes.

im sure you will be able to get a sound your looking for soon.
i will try myself anyway soon and post it! if you have reason i will post the rns. file. or maybe even the patches.
