Im remaking one of my tracks.
But ive ran into a slight problem.
The mixdown is a mess... muddy that is. I know I have to EQ all the synth, bass, etc channels. But ive been trying and failing all day, and I just cant seem to get it right.
Is there any guidelines how to set the values for each part? Like specific values for main lead, pads, bass, second lead, etc.
And wich type of Equalization should I use? ...Lowband, Broadband?
I have almost every plug-in by "Waves"... are there any presets in those I should use, and adjust the values from there? Or just start from scratch?
I really need help with this problem, its tearing my mind apart since ive been trying and failing a whole day(no kidding, Im stubborn as hell when it comes to these things, but now I need help).
Thanks. |

Try the "smile" eq curve. A slight gain to high and low freq and slight reduction to mid |
