there is no pitch control on this unit (but it is in development.. no word on a release date though). the target audience is not dance music dj's - its aimed at amatuers, bar owners, and mobile dj's who do not need to mix their music at the same tempo (this is the majority of the market!)
your battery will not die because the docks for both ipods have built-in chargers.
For $249, there are now going to be even more wanna-be-dj's. |

You can use it just like a regular mixer for your TT's or CDJ's as well. |

Yes. but clearly the main features are for the ipod users.
you could just as easily plug your ipod into a line out of a regular mixer, but this unit makes use of the ipod much more convenient. |
