Woot so proud my first EP.
Anyway, i posted the 2 tunes on TA but on 112 bitrate and violet moon was rather a wreck mastering and a bit mixing wise. I don't produce anymore not really feeling like it to produce lately, it's fading yes :(.
I polished violet moon a bit and i think on speakers it sounds perfect, just the way i like it. Didn't touch Violet sun, it's good as it is imo.
Anyway Offering them both in 256 bitrate mp3s.
For the people who never heard them. They are both atmospheric tracks, no hooks or anything just something nice to listen to imo and dream away a bit :)
Anyway here is the RAR file , both made in Reason.

Not bad at all dude, I could totally hear this coming off something like the Northern Exposure compilations. They'd probably also work in a more low-key prog set. You definitely earned that release, so give yourself a pat on the back. :)
Since they've already been released, I don't think there's any point in a full review, but if you do get around to doing some more productions (and I'd love to hear them if you do), then I would suggest keeping in mind:
- Go easy on the compressors (it was kind of noticeable in Violet Sun), and
- Easy on upper-mid-band eq, it gets audible near the end of Violet Moon (sounded great in the other track though)
But those things are minor, they're overall very nice tracks and good sound quality.
Hope you get your passion back! You can't always wait for the inspiration to hit you in the face, sometimes if you just sit down and start cranking stuff out, the inspiration will come later. :) |

Really nice man, as you said something to put on and dream away to. Excellent polished sound, lovely atmosphere and always interesting to listen to.
I hope your enthusiasm for production comes back, I know you can't force it but it would be sad if you gave up, especially after coming so far! |
