| i'm not going to go into too much detail but d/l accelerators clog up ftps and servers, either slowing them down to really annoying numbers or blocking entry for other users. anti-leech is exactly what the name implies, prevents ppl from stealing their links. safety measure so to speak. |

are there any progs out there that you can use to resume the downloads that are allowed on this site?
its just that me and probably loads of other people are using any isp that has a 2hr cut off and are using a 56k connection. |

if ur want some resuming software for this site, i would say Go!Zilla, even tho i have its counter part GetRight, GetRight doesnt work very well in conjunction with this site. this site using a thing called "cgi redirection" which basically redirects you when u try and download, this hiding the link from view = no stealers, GetRight doesnt support this cgi redirection (also the newest version 4.5b does, but not every time), i am on cable so i am not too fussed as using getright with ta, but if u want it for ta, go download Go!Zilla as its actually recommended on the site.

| I use a good program called Download Mage. Been using it for over a year now and have no complaints. It allows you to queue files, pause the dl and resume later (sever allowing) and quite a few other options. You can set the number of connections you wish to use also. Being as I'm only on a 56k I only use one, but site allowing you can set it up to have multiple connections. It's shareware but the you can find a serial for it easily on the net. |
