Meh, I've always hated gimicks... this is hopefully just another one that will die. Unfortunately unlike other "no name" (to most average consumers) brands Apple will make this product sale just because of the iPod.
As for Numark? Well look, now Numark is on the map for most people who originally said "nuwah?" So even if it flops, Numarks name is out there even more.
Bah. I can understand why it could be "cool" to some. But jesus, this ipod thing has gone just too bloody far.

Having watched the video and listen to him try and sell the thing I realise that this product is created for brainless wits!
It has NO use in the proffessional environment. None, Zip Nada... all, ya hear me!!!
This is not created for the dance industry, it's a gimmick for students.

u should be able ot just use one, they have to get around this...
this is a ign stupid design...
I don't have a problem with this, and if i did, i'd be a hypocrite, because i've hooked up a mixer to my laptop. but seriously, they could've spent some more time thinking things through. |

| I think the reason you cant just use one ipod is because of the way the ipod is because one ipod isnt fast enough to be able to play two songs at once. Unless they remade the mixer so that it downloads the songs and uses loads of internal memory but thats going to far for something that is only a toy. I could be wrong about this though... |

| why anyone would want to buy 2 iPods is beyond me - and using them to Dj with just seems a little weird - people have enough of a problem with people like Sasha using Ableton - can't really see anyone beiong taken seriously carrying in two little white boxes....looks like it would be good for a bedroom mess about but other than that cant be taken seriously |

I really like how he mentioned that someone with a $10000 set-up would be interested in this and because of this bars will be starting open i-pod nites. This thing is made for two purposes to fill Steve Job's pockets with more money and ruin Numark's cred in the DJ world even more. |
