| While there is more chance of you dying in a car crash than a plane accident, I'd stick with airlines from first world countries. |

LOL...good idea...another good idea is to stick with airlines who's countries have a good air force - better pilots and experience :nervous: |

Is this really surprising. Many of the planes that these low cost airlines use are older planes.....I am surprised we don't see more accidents. I think the media is just bringing this to our attention more. Everytime something happens CNN is reporting it and it is making world news. Years ago if a plane crashed you would not hear about it unless it happened in the US or Canada or another first world country. Now...it a single jet airplane crashes in butt nowhere Asia we hear about it. |

Wrong. It's very surprising. It's because there hasn't been a major aircrash until the 3 we had this month. What you don't hear about is the minor ones, which also happen very rarely (small private aircraft).
Also, it didn't crash in butt nowhere, and lots of people died. Pilots around the world are just as good as the ones from your perfect world, and have just as much experience.
Stop being so ignorant. |
