Knee specialist in Montreal ?

anyone can recommend a trusted name (I dont care if its expensive).
im on my X time injuring my knee ...:confused:
at this point I'm just not convinced with my current specialists

What exactly is the problem? Is it like an overuse injury or was this like from an impact or what not...?
I've had lots of kneee problems and now dealing with an stress fracture thats been going on 8 months now...so yea explian what it is. |

Less than a year ago I got a partial MCL tear. (not fully torn)
so the specialists (docs + team physio) told me it'll heal by itself within 3-4 months. No knee brace was recommended.
4 month later I came back and hurt myself a little - again. Waited 2 months, went back hurt my self a little again. Missed two months AGAIn...untill two days ago :whip:
I went for the semi-pro tryouts did well...no problems...
walking to the car, just dribbling with the ball in the parking lot, smiling thinkg about my performance....and *snap* again I hurt myself... this time worst than previous times.

Been there done that lol. Yea ummm sounds like you should get it scoped or wtvr u call it. Than agian this is quebec we have such horrid medical service. I would go to a really good physio...there's some dude forget his name...gary something i think...he works with the alluettes ( I know i can't spell) I went to him once. I'll try to find his number. The physio i use in hudson is awesome.
Sucks here in quebec...Like for my stress fracture i went to the doctor last wekk and i was like this is bs, I have been abler to race all year, and I want to run...give me surgery. He;s like uhhh you dont get surgery for stress fractures, im like yes in the US you can have surgery doen for chronic stress fractures like this...thans he's like uhhh just let it rest. So ing dumb |

are you an elite racer, going to the (special) olympics?? no.
why would the system spend money on you because you dont let it heal.
Either way in the US you would most probably pay it from your own pocket, so why don't you go there and get it done? |

well i don't need to understand , all I need is to read your post and its clear that this kind of stuff doesn't need surgery.

No this is after spending alot of time letting it rest, paying for physios and doing everything the doctor has being telling me to do...it's still messed up. So I've been researching online about what can be done, and in the US they do surgery for exactly what I have. So I dunno, there;s one more thing I'll try before resorting to something like that cause either way if I get surgery, I cant use my leg for 4 months basically. |

or make friends with people in medicine.....they can get stuff done very quickly for themselves and their close relatives and friends....the ONLY perk of working in medicine IMO |
