Well , ive seen there is no particular thread on this tune so i decided to open one up as it deserves it !
What a MASSIVE tune ! such a good sample of a great 80's song and the vocals r also very good and rocky :)
What do u guys think ? im totally in love with this tune right now , same style as Owner of a Lonely heart which i also think is amazing ! |

| If Flash Dance wasn't enough...Sultan had to go and mash this up. |

| Does this have any of Flashdance in it? I have a Deep Dish version of Money For Nothing that has no Flashdance in whatsoever, but all I've seen on releases is "Flashing for Money". |

| about as cheesy as it gets. Drop it in at the right time and place though and it would take the roof off. |

Fact of the matter, music like this is bringing back older people back to the clubs that used to go clubbing back in the day. Deep Dish has a lot to be thanked for in my opinion.
With hip hop being heard in just about every damn club now, these 80s,70s whatever remakes are keeping people interested. |

| I don't always condone music like this, but DD closed their EM with this and as someone said before, it's a definite club stonker. |

| Next to Cowpander, I'd put this among the best mashups ever. |

u r right , however most of the 70's , 80's remakes suck because they just tend to destroy the uniqueness of the original track.
Take for example ty remakes like : Dont u want me , out of touch , falling stars , fading like a flower and the list goes on and on ......
Remakes which preserve the originality of the song or add to it other elements r the best , for example : Owner of a lonely heart , Flashing for money , Mylo - In your arms etc.... unfortunatley there r not many good and quality remakes out there ! |

Its got the vocals.
Personally I don't like it, but then I hate Flashdance. It does work pretty well though, but theres a bit where the vocals are off beat, they seem a bit randomly timed and I reckon that sounds .
Commercial radio are flogging it here, much more than they did Flashdance. I'm not sure if its the Sultan Mix though, is that the only mix of this or is there another? |
