| I know much about almost everything..........(lolz.....i wish)...two kinds of drum'n'bass......jump up and dark.....same with jungle. Try DJ Andy C.....grooverider.....fabio and many others.......they have a show on radio 1......friday nights 9pm (eastern standard time) or 2am Saturday morning....british standard time. |

this is the third thread like this in a couple weeks!
ah well
d&b is best when skillfully mixed, so the following are all full mixed albums...
LTJ bukem is the all time king - progression sessions 1 through 6
Big Bud - infinity + infinity
john b - knowledge mag mix
dj db - secret art of science
on the more raw, loud, hyper tip:
andy c
dj hype
dj zinc
aphrodite
ed rush & optical
nicky blackmarket
grooverider
fabio
shy fx
that should keep your modem busy for a while :D |

Ak1200
Dj Dara
Dieselboy
you gotta get ak1200 - downing (drum & Space mix), I know its old but man i love that tune. |

| Toka you got some good feedback. b/f I got into trance I was a junglist. Me n my roommate @the University of Delaware ran the only jungle radio station for miles. Like any electronic genre jungle has many subdivisions; Dark-generally evil beats w/lots of distortion and low level bass, jump-up-quicker, more dance friendly(as name implies) w/many hip-hop loops, lyrics, mixes etc.. and progressive-more atmospheric, jazzy, at times totally chillout. I would recomend for dark-DJ Trace. For jump-up-my #1 DJ ODI, Dara, Dieselboy(early stuff), Aphrodite, Grooverider, any Natural Born Chiller remix. For progressive, hands down LTJ BUKEM, also check out any artist under the Good Looking Records label. ;) |
