He is an illusionist, I think... For those of you that have seen him do his "stunts" on TV or somewhere else, do you think he is real or fake? There is usually some small thing that an illusionist tries to hide from his audience or get them to believe something using psychology or what have you, but for some reason I cant think of any possible explaination of how he does his levitation acts at all... Kinda hard to explain if youve never seen him on TV before, but if you have you'll know what I mean...

we need video or stfu

As an illusionist and 'mystic' the man is a genious though with any video'ed illusionist there has to be some bit of video editing involved i think, like his "deja-vu" illusion. The levitation though, as far as I can see it is incredible and as far as I've seen is unexplainable by any scientific means. His trick with the frisbee in the same episode dropped my jaws to say the very least.

All I can really say is... David Blane who?!?!?!?!

i remember seeing an explanation as to how david blain did his levitation act, but i dont remember it.

this chris angel ass is just another fake

Levitation one... It will be retarded because its off an internet site, and who believes that comes from some wierd guys internet site? Seriously though you have to try and catch one of his 1 hour specials on TV or something to get the full effect...

Every illusionist is a fake to some degree or another but the episode i saw tonight showed some tried and true psychology know how. He knows his despite being a 'fake' as you put it.

The guy's a fruitcake. His shows are too dramatic.

Don't get me wrong, I can't touch his skill, but ! on with the show.
BeatFreak
The guy uses ACTORS in his show to do the street magic tricks on. I saw one where he had a voodoo doll which he'd burn the hand of and then the person who was turned away would be like "oww, that hurts!". And it just happens most of the people he did it to where attractive actresses. Watch the people, see through the bull. It was soooo fake.

I know all these tricks are illusions but that one was just plain TV bull.

This guy ain't even on David Blaine's level.

Plus he sings the theme song. What a lame-o. "MIND FREEEAAAK!!!" LOL

+1

I think his show is complete bull....He doesn't even reaffirm its realism by maintaining the same camera shot n like that...I'm not impressed by anything he does, because none of it is possible, meaning its all totally fake.

There was this one trick where he had the woman draw any animal on paper. He folded it up and then out popped the animal (in her case she drew a butterfly). The lady must have been informed ahead of time what types of animals to draw because what if she drew a whale or a bear?

I agree there has to be some manipulation of the audience.

Remember when david copperfield made the space shuttle diappear, was the same thing audience manipulation and actors.

I dont believe she was informed ahead of time at all. He probably used statistics along with psychology and selected the person that fit into a certain catagory where he knew she would draw a butterfly because the fact that she is a girl, and because it is very simple to draw. It might not be real but its still impressive...
