| Well i normally like the latest stuff, but i can over listen to songs, but the classics you can always come back to 6 months, a year, or more after. That is why they r classics |

I agree that the older tunes were the best ever. All the old sets from paul van dyk and tiesto, oh man those are soo energetic and nice. The new stuff hardly impresses me anymore (except the remixes from AvB, tiesto or Corsten)
Veracocha - Carte Blanche I haven't seen any tracks in the past year that can topple this tune |

| Classics....gotta love them...not only do they bring back memories, but you can hear the foundation of the new trance thats coming out. Don't get me wrong, i love lots of the new trax but some of my older tunes i've been listening for 2-3 years, and never get tired of them. |

I have a lot of old CDs with real classic trance music on it. The GOA TRANCE CDs I bought years ago kick ass. Some of my fav old tunes are:
Astral Projection - Power Gen
Technossomy - Pyramid
Man with No Name - Slyed
Legend B - Lost in Love (baby doc mix)
Art of Trance - Octopus
Union Jack - Cactus
RMB - Redemption
Westbam - Wizards of Sonic
etc........... |

hee hee... funny hearing about people talk about '99 being "old". :-)
This is a copy of my post from another thread;

oh yeah... people keep going on about new tunes. Yeah, we've gotta have them, but I listen to lots of tunes each year and very few 'make it' in terms of quality - a lot of it's formulaic.
You want GOOD trance, check out stuff from around '95 to '97.
Cygnus X, Eye Q records, Flying Rhino, Eve Records, Platipus, Earth Nation... deep, fast, uplifting, melodic, hard, beautiful...
I still get a rush off it even now, and you play stuff like this to crowds who haven't heard it and they get absolutely blown away.
more like this please, rather than quasi-pop which is what a lot of the big tunes end up being :-)
my December top 11 with MP3's is up on

track of the moment - Dreams : Miss Shiva remix : VC recordings
(quality remix of a track from about '95)

I'm curious to know if old trance tunes are always appreciated ! do you listen often them ? or do you think that it's too old to listen ?
that's a good question I think !
Personnaly, I think that old tunes reminds the past and sometimes we can be very nostalgic when we heard them ! do you agree with me ?

I can never get tired of euphoric trance of the past, present, and the future. The quality of this type is timeless to me.. Hence, my alias.. I always get massive tingles and buzzes from listening to the crescendo in the music.
