Who is going?
loca and I are
No.. it's not trance but it's still awesome music. I've been wanting to check out this guy live for years - Can't wait. The music he makes with his guitar is a superb mix of flamenco, jazz, rumba, etc. Great tunes for chilling on warm summer nights...

Born in Paris to Canadian parents, Cook spent his early years in southern France and Spain in an atmosphere rich in art, music, and literature. By the time he was three, Cook was playing a toy guitar along with his mother’s flamenco records. His family returned to Canada, and at age six, Cook was enrolled in the prestigious Eli Kassner Guitar Academy. During his 16 years of study, he also attended Toronto’s Royal Conservatory of Music, York University, and Berklee College of Music in Boston.
Cook returned to Spain and France to rediscover the passionate flamenco music of his childhood, seeking out guitar masters in Andalusia, Cordoba, Granada, and Madrid. Once, on a warm summer evening on a rooftop in Arles, Cook found himself jamming with the Gipsy Kings.
Since then, Cook’s signature rumba flamenca has dazzled audiences around the world. In addition to numerous Juno awards and nominations, Cook’s irresistible music has been heard at the 1999 PanAm Games, the Nagano Olympics, on the HBO series Sex And The City as well as in the short film, Hommage à Alfred LePetit starring Roman Polanski.
With his deep, artistic scope and astonishing performance style, Jesse Cook fuses the world’s cultures and traditions, both old and new, into an unforgettable musical experience.
