| got dragged out for a jungle party and acually had a good time, republik is a beautiful club , really enjoyed all the crazy lighting!! sound system was sick too, full of bass (or maybe that was hype's doing) i dont really like jungle but still mangaged to have a great time, was happy to see a headliner come on at midnight too, thought we were gonna have to wait around until god knows when..... cant wait to party it up there for a propper trance night! |

Emery, his buddy and I got to Republik around 1:15ish or so. Got in quickly as there was no lineup at all. The places was quite packed and jumping.
It's my first time there. I liked the lighting there and the spinning TVs are pretty cool. The sound system was good as well. The bar, with all the lighting around it fit in quite nicely. The bathrooms were impressive as well, LOL.
This is my first DnB/Jungle party in quite awhile now (around 3 years or so). Although not my favorite genre, I did enjoy the hour and a half I was there.
The crowd started thinning out quite quickly after 2am, and I decided to call it quits at 2:20am. Gonna have to return some other time to check out the other rooms and listen to some more tunes. |
