Settling in gainesville...

Hey guys,
Yesterday I arrived in Gainesville, FL to study at UFL for one semester. I thought it'd be a nice idea to start posting here to try and meet some ppl from the scene down here in FL!
So far I'm loving this place, still trying to get settled though. it will take me a while to get my stuff sorted out.

i meant area as in europe... utrecht is kinda quiet...
take away UF ala teh cool part of gainesville and gainesville becomes a poop town..

Hey hey hey. Ill be going to UF in about 3 days. AFAIK, the electronic music scene there is disgustingly lacking. Simon's plays some type of electronic music one night a week I think. Thats basically it. Sometimes they have top DJs come, but gainesville has this thing about EVERY club legally having to close at 2am. So, its not worth it for most djs to play till 2. ing cops....

Also, Vibe sometimes has djs come. Edgar V once played there. And Zabiela once played at Simon's. |
